Remote Positions-

Hiring Traveling Water Meter Crew Leaders & Technicians (AMI Deployment)

JAR Utility Group is expanding and seeking experienced Traveling Water Meter Crew Leaders and Installation Technicians for large-scale AMI water meter deployment projects across multiple states.

What You’ll Do

• Install residential & multifamily water meters (indoor & pit installs)
• Install endpoints/transmitters and capture serials, GPS, and photos
• Perform plumbing retrofits (PEX/Copper/CPVC loops, valves, pressure tests)
• Restore work areas and complete documentation in mobile field apps
• Crew Leaders: manage daily production, quality control, and safety

What We’re Looking For

• Plumbing or meter installation experience preferred
• Ability to travel for extended projects
• Strong work ethic and production mindset
• Professional communication with residents & property staff
• Valid driver’s license required
